A new book entitled “Communicating Biological Research Through Photos – A Photography Manual” authored by Nisanth HP, Vishnu H, Chinnu Vishwanathan and Biju Kumar, supported by the ECOMARINE Project, has been released!
The book was released by Prof (Dr) Mohanan Kunnummal, Vice Chancellor, University of Kerala, and the first copies were received by Prof. Georgios Georgiou from the University of Cyprus, Ms. Beatriz Tintoré from Archipelagos, Institute of Marine Conservation, Greece, and Sri Suresh Elamon (noted wildlife photographer, who has written forward to the book).
The book contains all relevant and useful information that an enthusiastic photographer would need to know on how to successfully use the medium of digital photography for research purposes. It covers a whole range of essential subjects: from basics of digital photography to practical tips on specimen photography, intricacies of flash photography etc.
